About Me

Me + Giant Racket in Monte Carlo, April 2010
If you read A Change of Ends and have bothered to navigate over to my profile, I'm guessing you want to know a little bit more about me and probably why I write about tennis. My name is Andrea. I would love to tell you that I'm a tour level tennis player and highly qualified to analyze the pro matches that I attend. I can't do that. I'm not a very good tennis player, but that's more a lack of athleticism than strategy. I spend almost ridiculous amounts of time watching, reading about, and writing about tennis. Over the past year, I've become hooked on live tennis. I'll watch any match I can on TV, but it's all better live. I've attended tournaments around the world including the Monte Carlo Masters, AMN AMRO Rotterdam, the Estoril Open in Portugal, Legg Mason in DC, the French Open and several more. I use all of my own photos and information when possible. I hope you enjoy A Change of Ends. Also, if you're interested in my observations, you can follow me on twitter @achangeofends. I hope to build this blog over time (maybe even to the point where some tournament will be crazy enough to issue me a press pass) and the only way to do that is through my readers. Thank you for visiting and I hope to see you back soon! If you like A Change of Ends or you have any questions or comments, I love talking to other tennis fans so don’t hesitate to drop me a line at achangeofends@gmail.com.
